Jerusalem

O Jerusalem,

I have posted watchmen on your walls;

they will pray to the Lord day and night

for the fulfillment of his promises.

Take no rest, all you who pray.

Give the Lord no rest until he makes Jerusalem

the object of praise throughout the earth.

Isaiah 62:6-7 NLT

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May they prosper who love you.
Peace be within your walls,
Prosperity within your palaces.”
For the sake of my brethren

and companions,
I will now say,

“Peace be within you.”
Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek your good.
Psalm 122:6-9 NKJV

Lord God,

please draw the hearts and minds of Your children to more fervent, faithful, and faith-filled intercession and action as we see Your sovereign Plan unfolding upon Earth. Strategically post us as spiritually armed watchmen upon Your walls. May we never hold our peace, but spend ourselves in intercession day and night. May we never be silent giving You no rest until Jerusalem is firmly established as a praise in all the earth.

May our prayers forcefully reverberate before Your holy Throne of Grace until the sounding of the final “Amen."

Our God and King,

Lion of Judah,

Lamb of God,

we cry out for the peace of Jerusalem.

We surround Your city with walls of praise.

Father,

we pray for all contemplating marriage, pleading that they understand the complexity of lifelong relationships and the seriousness of the commitments they seek to make. May they recognize both joys and sorrows they will be called to face. Teach them to love and honor one another with undying selflessness. May their commitments to You, to one another, and to their children be fierce and unyielding when circumstances close in on them.

May Your Presence be welcomed in their public and private times together. May they draw near to You and remain in Your Presence at all times, seeking always to honor You and live fruitful lives for Your Kingdom.
